Training Incentives to Support New Hires

At the LEHC, we have the privilege of offering no-cost training grants to our clients. Sometimes, these incentives can make all the difference in someone’s career development. Like one individual that visited our offices (back in the good old days), looking to get into a management role. See, this is where our staff’s employment advocacy efforts can really come in handy. The LEHC was able to offer a training grant to a local employer to support hiring this individual as an Operations Manager. Often, people just need the benefit of the doubt to realize their potential. Let the LEHC leverage its resources in your job search and career development!

Do You Suffer from Mask Ears?

Masks aren’t very comfortable. They don’t do much for your wardrobe or fashion sense. But, masks are now required by law in all indoor spaces in Ontario and where physical distancing can’t be maintained. Embrace your mask ears, for the health and well-being of our communities!

Tell Your Story!

At the LEHC, we work tirelessly to support local job seekers and businesses! There are so many stories of success and we invite you to write your own with us. Take an internationally trained electrical engineer that came to Canada and hit the ground running looking for his first work experience. With the support of LEHC staff, he was able to build a local, professional network and land a position as an electrical engineer in training (EIT), now well on his way to earning his P.Eng!

The journey was hard. It was at times hopeless and dreadful. It took just over 2 years for this engineer to land this opportunity. Like all stories, there were ups and downs, struggles and triumphs.

There’s always hope.

Connect with the LEHC today to continue telling your story with confidence while progressing personally and professionally.
