Privacy Statement

LEHC is committed to protecting your privacy.  LEHC does not collect personally identifiable information, except when you specifically and knowingly provide it to us in order to provide you with our services.  We at LEHC strive to help our clients protect their privacy while using our services.  This policy statement tells you how we collect our information and protect the privacy of our users.

  • Your personal information is necessary to provide the services you are subscribing for, and to comply with reporting requirements specific to that service.
  • Except for use by LEHC's counsellors and advisors, your personal information will not be disclosed to any third party, nor shared with any other web site, corporation, or government office, without verification of your prior consent when you sign the Intake Form in our office.
  • LEHC may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) LEHC, its rights or property, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
  • LEHC may disclose user information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.
  • LEHC may use aggregate information about our users in order to customize LEHC.ca and its content, to deliver a better experience and product for our users.
  • LEHC may request your name, e-mail address, phone, and fax numbers.  LEHC needs this information to fulfill tracking of accounts for compliance with Provincial and Federal laws, and for feedback purposes.
  • In cases where your personal information changes, we will provide a way to correct or update the personal data you give us.  You can do this at the contact us (e-mail) page on our home page.

Notwithstanding the terms of this policy, the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information may be made outside of the terms herein to the extent provided for in applicable legislation.  LEHC takes reasonable precautions to ensure your privacy on the terms contained herein.  LEHC uses reasonable efforts to, but cannot totally prevent, unintended disclosure by such means as hackers and other unauthorized individuals, and inadvertent or illicit employee action.
