Free Job Search Workshops
Group "How To..." sessions happen every Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
No Pre-Registration is required. All those interested in attending may do so. Come to the London Employment Help Centre Wednesday morning before ten o'clock and tell the Receptionist you are here for the Wednesday workshop. We will take care of you from there.
Each Wednesday one of the following workshops is offered to any one who is interested in participating:
- Résumés and Cover Letters - What kind of information should you be putting in your Résumés and Cover Letters, and how should you format it so employers will notice?
- Information Interviewing - Why is Information Interviewing the best way to build an employment network, and how do you go about getting started?
- Behavioral Interviews - What kinds of questions will you be expecting in this type of interview, and how can you go about preparing good answers?
- Workplace Communication Skills - How can you deal better with difficult personalities during your job search and when you first start a new job?
